SOME COMMENTS ABOUT THE RUINS OF TUNKAT-IMLAQ OLD CITY

This article provides information about Tunkat, one of the ancient monuments of the Tashkent region. Tunkat is interpreted in scientific sources as the capital city of Ilaq state. These thoughts were confirmed by M.E.Masson, Yu.F. Buryakov and many other scientists’ works and scientific research. A.Askarov and his students, disagreeing with the above opinions, expressed their views that Tunkat does not have signs typical of the capital, that this city is a city of metallurgists, that Ilok's capital was another city.
