The scientific article highlights the reflection of the "idea of tolerance" in the worldview and works of Eastern and Western thinkers. Also, in this article, the problem of forming the concept of tolerance in the historical and political context and in the field of international relations is studied and scientifically analyzed.
In the era of modern globalization, when international relations are expanding on a global scale, the place and role of the factor of tolerance based on mutual kindness, trust, cooperation and peace is extremely important. Tolerance is an integral part of society and state life and plays an important role in the history of man and his development. In recent years, the study of the category of tolerance and its important place in the system of modern international relations has become an actual scientific direction facing modern socio-philosophical, political and historical sciences.
