THE GUIDE OF THE ARCHIVE AS A REFLECTION OF IT HISTORICAL AND DOCUMENTARY POTENTIAL (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE GUIDE OF 1960 NAUz)
Abstract
The article is devoted to one of the urgent problems of the modern stage of the development of communications and technologies - the information content of historical publications and sources. In particular, an analytical review of one of the reference books in the system of the scientific and reference apparatus of the National Archives of Uzbekistan, the Guide to the funds of the Central State Archive of the ORSS of the Uzbek SSR, 1960, was carried out.
The study provides information about the types of documents, their specifics, chronological framework, historical significance, role in the life of the state and society in the period under study, and also provides information on the stages of digitization of the NAU funds of the Soviet period.
