STRENGTHENING NEW UZBEKISTAN’S CONNECTION WITH COMPATRIOTS ABROAD - A NEW STAGE IN ENSURING NATIONAL HARMONY

Abstract

The article presents information about meetings and events held with compatriots in the USA during the visit of a group of practitioners and scientists to the United States based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on March 19, 2025, “On measures to raise national harmony and strengthening relations with compatriots abroad to a new level”.

The article demonstrates that the interethnic policy in the country is based on the principles of tolerance. It is substantiated that there is a need for the development of diasporology as a scientific discipline in Uzbekistan and highlights that our state is increasingly recognized worldwide as an example of interethnic harmony and tolerance.
