FROM THE HISTORY OF THE FIRST RURAL MEDICAL STATIONS IN THE FERGHANA REGION (END OF XIX - BEGINNING OF XX CENTURY)

The article based on archival materials, periodicals and scientific literature, analyzes the organization and management of European medical institutions - paramedic outpatient hospitals, women's and children's hospitals and the first rural medical stations in Turkestan, in particular in the Fergana region, at the end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th centuries, as well as the staffing levels and material support of the first city hospitals created in the region, the attitude of the local population towards European-style medical institutions, the main problems encountered in the activities of medical institutions.
