THE IMPORTANCE OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL DATA IN THE STUDY OF HISTORICAL TOPOGRAPHY AND ARCHITECTURE OF EARLY CITIES

This article highlights the historical topography, architecture of the first cities in Central Asia, and the importance of archaeological data in the study of the history of the first cities in general. The author analyzed such issues as the main factors and necessity of the emergence of the first cities, the functions of cities and their changes, and the interdependence of the development of cities and statehood by directing a large number of archeological data to history. Also, the article pays special attention to the fact that cities appear at the initial stage of statehood and reflect its development, prosperity and crisis situations, but the first stages of the state's development are rarely reflected in written sources, and there is almost no information about the first cities.
