FROM ACTION STRATEGY TO DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

In this article, the author reports on the adoption and results of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 7, 2017 “On the Action Strategy for five priority areas for the further development of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021.” information. The main goal of the Action Strategy was to radically increase the effectiveness of ongoing reforms, create conditions for the comprehensive and rapid development of the state and society, implement the priorities of modernization of our country and liberalization of all spheres of life.
On January 28, 2022, the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the development strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026” was adopted. This is a logical continuation of the Action Strategy and marks the beginning of reforms being implemented in the republic. The development strategy of the new Uzbekistan includes seven directions. This article reveals the goals of the development strategy.
