KASHKADARYA PROVINCE IN THE 60S OF THE 20TH CENTURY HISTORY AT A GLANCE

This article briefly touched on the 10-year history of Kashkadarya region in the 60s of the 20th century. During this period, as in previous periods, cotton growing remained the leading industry in the life of workers of the entire republic, in particular, Kashkadarya region. Although the region took the first place in cotton production, for a short period (1960-1964) Kashkadarya region was included in Surkhandarya region. Its negative consequences and the establishment of Kashkadaya as a separate region, the state of the building system, food, and living standards of the population in the region were tried to be shown in this article.
