The article analyzes the colonial policy of Tsarist Russia and the administration of Turkestan as an example of the policy of resettlement of the Russian population in the country. Although the political and social situation in the country during the period under study was extremely difficult, colonial policy was based on the fact that local economic opportunities increasingly served the interests of Russia and served to further strengthen the dominance of the empire. . It was emphasized that as a result of the resettlement of the Russian population to the country, serious changes occurred in the economy of Turkestan, as well as in the tax system. All information used in this article is considered to be historical facts and terms related to the history of this period are used, which are used in many literatures about this period.
