ABU RAYHAN BERUNI’S CONTRIBUTION TO WORLD CIVILIZATION

The article highlights the activities of the brilliant Central Asian encyclopedic scientist Abu Rayhan Beruni. The author reveals various facets of the scientific creativity of this great thinker, shows the encyclopedic nature of his work: reveals his contribution to astronomy and mathematics, history and geography, mineralogy and geodesy. At the same time, it is emphasized that Beruni made the greatest contribution in comparison with other sciences to astronomy.
The main content of the largest and most studied by researchers of Beruni’s creative heritage of such works as "The Canon of Masud", "Mineralogy", "Monuments of past Generations", "India", "Saidana" is revealed in some detail.
The final part of the article contains conclusions arising from the content of the article.
