The article reveals the activities of women in the public life of the Khorezm region during the Second World War by analyzing articles published in periodicals in the region.
The Second World War, news papers “Khorezm haqiqati” and “Khorezmskaya Pravda” were published in the region. In these periodicals, along with news about the military operations of the army, daily information was given about science, production, culture, and agriculture. From the beginning of the war to the end of the war, along with the women of the republic, the women of the Khorezm region also showed initiative in all areas. Women correspondents who worked in the periodical publications of the region reviewed articles reflecting the activity of women in public life.
