This article presents the first detailed information about Ismailbek Gasprinsky’s brochure "Istiloi Turkiston". This brochure was published in Bakhchisarai in 1889 and briefly describes the history of the occupation of Turkestan by the Russian Empire and the establishment of colonial regimes. The article for the first time analyzes the brochure "Istiloi Turkiston" and reveals its significance in the study of the history of Uzbekistan. This pamphlet by Gasprinsky is one of the most valuable sources for studying the history of Turkestan in the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
