Abstract

The article analyzes the repressive policies pursued against intellectuals during the soviet occupation. Educated people have always fought for the truth. According to sources a total of 6 million people were arrested during the years of “Great massacre” of which 2 million corpses were left in camps. There is no state in the history of mankind which has been as ruthless to its people as the soviets. The author analyzes the life and scientific activity of the great scientist, historian, great organizer of science, famous statesman and public figure I.Muminov on the history of socio – political and philosophical thought of the peoples of Central Asia in the prism of socio – political tendencies of the twentieth century.
