Abstract

This article analyzes the difficult socio-political situation in Movarounnahr in the 50-60s of the XIV century.

The region, which reached a high level of development in the 9th-12th centuries, became a backward state after the invasion of the Mongols, people were humiliated under double oppression.

In this difficult time, Amir Temur entered the political arena and began to fight with the Mongols and local fragmented emirs. Amir Temur in order to build a centralized state develops various strategies and tactics against these dangerous enemies and unites the country.

The article analyzes his struggle and methods against the Mongol Khan Tugluk Temur, his son Ilyaskhoja, who ascended the throne after his death.
