The article analyzes the work being carried out at the Akhsikent monument, one of the largest archaeological sites in the Fergana Valley. The main attention is paid to the topography, toponymy, development processes of this archaeological site, the current state of excavations in the complex, the structure, composition and exposition of the “Open-air Museum” being built here.
