Abstract

This article highlights the state policy of Uzbekistan's aimed at determining the economic potential of regions which are rich in resources and exploring new cities on their basis, as well as creating the city of Gazgan, one of the richest regions in natural resources , its historical past, ethnic composition, and economic life. Based on source materials, information is provided on the role of Gazgan marble in the economic development of the country during the period of independence.
