THE ROLE OF ALEXANDER THE GREAT'S CONQUEST IN THE FORMATION OF HELLENISM CULTURE IN CENTRAL ASIA

Based on an in-depth analysis of written sources and information from ancient authors, the article examines topical issues of the period of Alexander the Great's conquest of Central Asia. The issues of the military, economic and political influence of the Hellenes on the indigenous peoples within the framework of the conquests of Alexander the Great are highlighted. Written sources from the works of ancient authors within the framework of the history of Transoxiana are given. The stages of Alexander the Great's military campaign in Central Asia are described. The events and historical patterns of the Hellenic conquest of the peoples living in Transoxiana at that time are described.
