Abstract

This article analyzes the essence, principles, and practical significance of the right to protect one’s rights and interests as enshrined in the updated 2023 Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Human dignity and the rule of law constitute the foundation of a democratic legal state. The article examines constitutional guarantees of personal, political, economic, and social rights, as well as mechanisms for their protection and the state’s obligations in the field of human rights.
