THE RARE BOOKS COLLECTION AT THE STATE MUSEUM OF HISTORY OF UZBEKISTAN

This article examines the historical stages of formation, enrichment, preservation, and promotion of the rare books collection at the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan. Based on archival documents, the museum’s internal catalogs, and scholarly sources, it highlights the linguistic and thematic diversity of the collection, as well as the processes of restoration and digitization. The findings of the study provide important methodological recommendations for the preservation and promotion of Uzbekistan’s written heritage.
