ESTABLISHMENT OF SOCIAL STRATA IN SURKHANDARYA DURING SOVIET RULE: THE IMPACT OF REPRESSION AND COLLECTIVIZATION POLICIES

In this study, the decision of the social strata and the judiciary in the Surkhandar region by the Soviet authorities and the repression of this process. In the 20s and 30s of the 20th century, the Soviet government, within the framework of its class policy, began to introduce a new social structure by exterminating the rich and landowners, by forcing the poor and middle-class peasants into collective farms. Three processes brought great social and economic changes in Surkhandarya.
