SOUTHERN UZBEKISTAN IN THE CONTEXT OF WORLD CIVILIZATION

Central Asia, one of the centers of Eastern civilization, has been the central link of the Great Silk Road for centuries and is known as a cultural environment where Eastern and Western civilizations met and cooperated, and has played an important role in international economic and cultural relations. The article highlights that in the current conditions, when the study of our history and national cultural heritage has risen to the level of state policy, it is an important task of our country's historical knowledge to shed light on the place of Uzbekistan in the system of internal and external cultural relations of Central Asia. The geographical location of Uzbekistan in the center of the vast Eurasian region, at the crossroads of the most important transit routes, has historically determined its importance as a place of cultural relations between the East and the West. Therefore, it is scientifically justified that at the present stage of the development of historical science, the study of the history of Uzbekistan as an important component of world civilization is an urgent task.
