The article shows the impetus and importance of the Uzbek oil industry in the development of the country's economy and the rise of the entire industry by examining the history of measures taken to develop the oil industry during the Soviet era. Oil extraction from oil wells, carried out on the basis of procedures established under Soviet rule after the coup d'etat in Russia, studied the processes of its processing in connection with all branches of the national economy. The article is devoted to the history of the oil industry of the Ferghana Valley based on archival documents, scientific research by foreign and domestic researchers, monographs, pamphlets stored in the collections of the National State Archive of Uzbekistan, and contains conclusions on the topic.
