DEVELOPMENT OF INTERPARLIAMENTARY COOPERATION BETWEEN THE OLIY MAJLIS OF UZBEKISTAN AND THE OSCE PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY

The article examines the stages of formation and development of inter-parliamentary cooperation between the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA). Key areas of cooperation are highlighted: regional security, economic development, human rights protection and the environmental agenda. The emphasis is on the role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening the international image of Uzbekistan. Achievements such as the promotion of Uzbekistan's international initiatives and democratic reforms are highlighted, and challenges requiring further attention are identified.
