Abstract

This article attempts to demonstrate how our historians have made a significant contribution to understanding the ethnic origins of the Uzbek people through their scientific research. It analyzes the productive work of our scholars who have studied the ethnic composition of tribes, clans, and communities that have lived in the territory of Uzbekistan from ancient times to the present day. After all, the large-scale political, economic, social and spiritual changes taking place today in our country require a scientific study of the history of our country and people, based on deep and intellectual thinking.
