FROM THE HISTORY OF WOOD CARVING IN TASHKENT

This article explores the identity and history of the Tashkent school of woodcarving, comprehensively examines the work of famous masters of woodcarving who lived in the area. The definition of partial compositions of patterns is also given. The main attention is paid to the life and work of Suleiman Khodjaev, Maksud Kasimov, Nigmat Ibragimov, Muharram Ibragimov, who made a significant contribution to the development of Tashkent woodcarving and introduced innovations in patterns, carving styles and were one of the dynastic masters.
