THE ROLE OF HISTORICAL MEMORY IN THE NEW DEVELOPMENT STAGE OF UZBEKISTAN

Historical memory is a concept that represents the re – manifestation, recall, appreciation of the material and spiritual wealth created by ancestors in the minds and everyday practical activities of people.Without having his historical memory, a person cannot understand the essence of social changes taking place in his life, cannot imagine his own future.Historicalmemoryserves as the main source for the formation and development of the principles of high spirituality.Justfor this reason, the strengthening of the historical memory of the people, the nation at all times was under the attention of the great allomas of the land, statesmen.The values that arose as a result of the interaction of human generations, that is, the spiritual heritage of ancestors and descendants, are added to the treasury of universal cultural heritage and gradually become historical memory.The article scientifically investigated the role of historical memory in the formation of civil society and the stage of new development.
