Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the relationship of suspended sediments runoff with morphometric parameters of river basins, including catchment altitude and areas. The study was conducted on the basis of data on catchment areas (F, km2), mean elevations (H, m) of the river catchments of Surkhandarya basin and suspended sediments runoff (R, kg/sec). As a result, increasing amount of suspended sediments runoff corresponding to catchment areas of rivers, and decreased them with increasing average elevation of the catchments.
