INFLUENCE OF THE DIGITAL RELIEF MODEL IN THE GIS PROGRAM ON THE TACTICAL PROPERTIES OF THE TERRAIN

The use of modern technologies, which are the latest achievements of science, is important to increase the effectiveness of the armed forces. The article presents work on the creation of a three-dimensional terrain model in a GIS program, the relief is a key factor in combat situations, and the location of other geographic objects can be predicted depending on the location of the relief. The movement of the army was also taken into account when choosing favorable relief conditions, the possibility of its location in different areas.
