Abstract

The article examines the influence of types of precipitation on the change in the water content of mountain rivers using the example of the Pskem river. A statistical analysis of multifactorial relationships between annual precipitation by separated types and the runoff of the Pskem River was carried out, and the contribution of each type of precipitation in these relationships was determined. On the basis of the calculations performed in the study, a statistical assessment was made of the relationship between the Pskem river runoff during the growing season and the height of the snow line in the river basin.
