The article examines the dynamics of the share of gas in the global energy balance, the impact of technological innovations and the possibility of using unconventional gas on the geography of its reserves, promising developments in the geography of natural gas production, and also emphasizes the need to form a gas cluster in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
