This article provides a detailed analysis of the theoretical geographical views of natural geographers and landscape scientists on the stability, dynamics and development of landscapes. It describes the factors that prioritize the stability, dynamics, and development of mountain landscapes, and the extent to which these conditions occur in the plains and mountains. Suggestions and recommendations are made on the main directions of the study of landscapes, in particular, the stability, dynamics and development of mountain landscapes.
