This scientific article describes in detail the research carried out in the development of tourism and their current issues. In particular, the research of scientists who have contributed to the field of tourism on recreational research and their classification issues is covered. The approaches of scientists to the classification of tourist resources are also illustrated by the example of tourist and natural objects of the Charvak free tourist zone.
