This article highlights specific historical facts about Hellenic (Western) and local (Eastern) life in the political, economic, cultural and ideological spheres of the Hellenistic period and the Greco-Macedonian conquests in many parts of the East. At the same time, special attention is paid to scientific research on the campaigns of Alexander the Great and the three-hundred-year chronological period of the Hellenic period.
