The Karakalpak dance, which has an ancient history and rich traditions, reflects the national image of the Karakalpak people, the features of their character, the spiritual world. In dance art, this is expressed in peculiar movements, costume, technique and performance techniques. In this regard, of particular importance is the study of the work of outstanding dance masters, the history and current state of the Karakalpak dance art, its genre diversity, and its study in art history studies.
