DIGITAL SOCIETY: OPPORTUNITIES AND RISKS

Abstract
The article analyzes the problem of the transition to an informed and digital society – one of the most important problems of our time. The stages of formation of the information society, features and elements of the "digital society" are revealed. In addition to the positive aspects, the associated risks are also described. The reforms carried out in Uzbekistan during the transition to a digital society were discussed and conclusions were drawn to reduce negative situations. The article analyzes a number of domestic and foreign literature and elaborates practical recommendations.
