Abstract

The year 2020 was proclaimed in Uzbekistan a “Year of development of science, enlightenment and digital economy”. The actuality of digital economy, reflects, in fact, the deepening process of “digitalization” in XXI-st century. Today, in the result of researches of distant communications in the conditions of COVID-19 as well as global spread of social networks, robots and artificial intelligence, such new notions are entering in the scientific lexicon as ‘digital dictatorship’ and “digital democracy’. In this article, the given issue is analyzed in the context of ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan and in the frameworks of theory of democracy
