INDO-PAKISTAN ANTAGONISM: DISSENTER POSITION AGAINST POWER STRATEGY (THE CASE OF THE AFGHAN CONFLICT)

Abstract

in this article the opposite positions and policies of two states – India and Pakistan – with respect to the situation in Afghanistan are analyzed. Within the framework of the theory of Political Realism ideological and geopolitical aspects of Indo-Pakistani confrontation as well as current relations of two states are considered in the context of the changing situation in Afghanistan. Difference in statuses of two competing states in the international system and impossibility of strategic parity between them are revealed
