SARS-CoV-2 virusi keltirib chiqaradigan COVID-19 pandemiyasi aholi salomatligiga jiddiy tahdid soldi. Bugungi kunda mamlakatimiz tibbiyotining rivojlanishi tibbiyot tizimini xalqaro andozalar talablariga moslashtirish, yuqumli kasalliklarning tarqalishi, diagnostikasi, davolash va profilaktikasini o‘rganish, asoratlari rivojlanishini kamaytirishni taqozo etmoqda.

Muhimlik COVID-19 ning epidemiologik xususiyatlari va klinik ko'rinishlarini o'rganish, kasallikning klinik variantlarini SARS-Cov-2 virusining turli shtammlariga bog'liqligi, SARS-Cov-2 virusining virulentligi va patogenligini o'rganish, kasallikning og'ir va murakkab shakllarining rivojlanishini asoslash, kasallikning og'ir va murakkab patogen shakllarini o'rganishda. COVID 19, salbiy oqibatlar rivojlanishini asoslash, SARS-Cov-2 virusining genetik va fenotipik xususiyatlari va yangi koronavirus infeksiyasining klinik va laboratoriya ko‘rinishlari o‘rtasidagi bog‘liqlikni o‘rganish, COVID-19 ga qarshi vaksinalarning samaradorligi va xavfsizligini o‘rganish. Bugungi kunda mamlakatimiz tibbiyotining rivojlanishi tibbiyot tizimini xalqaro standartlarga moslashtirish, yuqumli kasalliklarning tarqalishi, diagnostikasi, davolash va oldini olish usullarini o‘rganish, asoratlari xavfini kamaytirishni taqozo etmoqda.
