Вазомотор ринит (ВР) – шифокорлар амалиётида тез-тез учрайдиган сурункали касалликдир. Беморнинг асосий шикояти бурун битиши фонида нафас олишнинг бузилиши бўлиб, ушбу ҳолат ксилометазолин ёки оксиметазолин асосидаги қон томирларни торайтирувчи препаратларни назоратсиз, мустақил равишда қўллашга олиб келади. Тадқиқот натижаларига кўра, СТ субъектив симптомларни камайтириш ва ВР билан касалланган беморларнинг объектив ҳолатини яхшилаш учун самарали бўлган, аммо СТ билан биргаликда дори-дармон бўлмаган усулларни қўллаш (галотерапия, А.Н. Стрельникованинг нафас олиш гимнастикаси) назорат гуруҳига қараганда беморларнинг объектив ҳолатини ишончли тарзда яхшилашга олиб келган.
