Bolaning dentoalveolyar tizimi o'sayotgan organizmning o'zaro bog'liq va o'zaro bog'liq omillar majmuasi ta'siri ostida dinamik ravishda o'zgarib turadigan qismidir. Chaynash samaradorligi ovqatni etarli darajada chaynash va shuning uchun ozuqa moddalarining optimal hazm bo'lishi va so'rilishi uchun asosiy omil hisoblanadi. Ortodontik davolanishdan keyingi ushlab turish davri tishlarni asl holatiga qaytarishga intilayotgan periodontistning sa'y-harakatlari tufayli yuzaga kelishi mumkin.
