Ҳозирги вақтда маълумки, оғиз бўшлиғи тўқималари ва органларининг касалликлари умумий патология ривожланишининг дастлабки омиллари бўлиши мумкин. Ўз навбатида, тизимли бузилишлар тишларнинг қаттиқ тўқималари, паротид тўқималари, оғиз шиллиқ қаватининг клиник кўринишлари, кечиши, зарарланиш натижаларида из қолдириши шарт, бу ёш ва меҳнатга лаёқатли одамларда кўп тишларнинг йўқотилишига, юз оғриғига, темпоромандибуляр бўғимдаги (ТМБ) бузилишларга ва бошқа оғир шикастланишларга олиб келади Шунинг учун тиш тизимидаги патологик ўзгаришларни тананинг бошқа ички органлари ва тўқималарининг шикастланиши билан боғлиқлигини ўрганиш стоматология учун жуда долзарб вазифа бўлиб қолмоқда.
