Ожоги, особенно при обширных поражениях, часто сопровождаются функционально-органическими изменениями внутренних органов. Тяжелые ожоги, неправильное лечение и другие причины могут привести к осложнениям, которые часто заканчиваются летальным исходом. Важным моментом является развитие острых эрозий и язв в желудочно-кишечном тракте (ЖКТ).
