The program involved maternity institutions in Tashkent and the Pediatrics Center. 57,398 children were examined. In newborns, as a screening method, we used registration of otoacoustic emission at the frequency of the distortion product (PIOAE), at the stage of re-screening - PIOEA, short-latency brainstem potentials (SBSP). Screening results in 2022: hearing screening was carried out in 57,398 children, the primary screening was a suspicion of hearing impairment, detected in 1.87%, rescanning within the first 2 months showed a false positive result in 89.2%, and a disorder was diagnosed in 10.7% of children hearing Problems of the pilot project: changes in the logistics of screening at the stage of re-screening and extended audiological examination, violation of registration of data of the subject, difficulties in monitoring the correctness of screening on site.
