METHODS OF EXAMINATION OF PATIENTS WITH LATERAL PATELLAR INSTABILITY

Objective:Improvement of clinical and instrumental methods of examination of patients with lateral instability of the knee cap.
Material and methods: From 2018 to 2021, 74 patients with knee valve instability were examined and treated at the Samarkand branch of the Republican Specialized Traumatology and Orthopedics Scientific and Practical Medical Center.
Results: This article describes the improvement of clinical and instrumental methods of examination of patients with lateral patellar instability in the Samarkand branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics for the period from 2018 to 2021.The main X-ray projections for the diagnosis of knee cap instability include: anteroposterior X-ray of both knee joints, X-ray in the coronary position from the lower hip-femoral joint to the ankle joint; X-ray in lateral projection at a 20-30° bend under pressure; Axial views of both knee joints in 20-30° flexion.
Conclusions: Considering that the lateral instability of the knee cap can damage the soft tissue structures, it can damage not only the soft tissue structures, but also the intra-articular structures of the knee joint at the same time. We used the magnetic resonance imaging method for diagnosis.
