CORRELATIONS OF MSCT SIGNS OF CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE, COMORBID WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS
Keywords:
COPD, type 2 diabetes mellitus, MSCTAbstract
In order to analyze the relationships of the sugar profile with distinctive MSCT symptoms in patients with COPD and diabetes mellitus, a correlation and regression analysis was performed. Most of the analyzed parameters had a largely linear dependence and reflected a direct correlation, which is confirmed by the calculations of the correlation coefficient. A linear nature of the dependence of MSCT symptoms specific to COPD with residual changes after an inflammatory condition in the lungs and microvasculopathy was determined, which increase or decrease accordingly with a change in the patient's sugar profile. Diabetes mellitus contributes to the progression of persistent inflammation in COPD. The negative effect of type 2 diabetes mellitus on the course and progression of COPD leads to an aggravation of both clinical and radiation parameters.
