The aim of this study is to assess the dental health of patients with end-stage chronic kidney disease (CKD) and to evaluate the effectiveness of traditional and innovative treatment methods. A total of 158 patients were examined, including groups receiving and not receiving hemodialysis. An analysis of dental status revealed a high prevalence of conditions such as xerostomia, uremic stomatitis, and periodontitis. The use of combination therapy with sodium bicarbonate and xylitol demonstrated positive outcomes, including reduced inflammation and improved quality of life for patients.
