Abstract

Endovideosurgical methods for the treatment of esophageal hiatal hernias have proven to be effective and minimally invasive approaches. This article analyzes the clinical outcomes of 58 patients who underwent laparoscopic fundoplication. The results show a significant reduction in postoperative complications and recurrences compared to traditional methods such as laparotomy. Laparoscopy promotes faster recovery and enhances the quality of life for patients.
