IMPACT OF PHYTOPATHOGENIC VIRUSES ON BIOMASS AND CORN HARVEST STRUCTURES

This article is devoted to the determination and study of the effect of maize dwarf mosaic virus (MCMV) on phytomass and yield patterns of various maize varieties. We have been studying viral diseases of corn for 4 years. Until today, we have determined which viral diseases cause the most damage to the corn fields of the Tashkent region. The distribution of the virus was determined, reservoir plants, insect vectors, the dynamics of infection by phases were studied, and resistant varieties were established. In addition, the influence of HCMC on the physiological processes of corn, that is, on enzymatic activity, pigment content and grain quality, was studied. This article discusses the impact of HCMC on phytomass (biomass) and crop patterns. On the fields of farms and on experimental fields, we conducted studies to determine the phytomass and crop structure in various varieties infected with the virus, comparing healthy maize plants.
