In the present article, we carried out the photochemical dissociation of phenol in the presence of ethyl 3,3,5,5-tetracyano-2-hydroxy-2-methyl-4,6-diphenylcyclohexane carboxylate (C26H22N4O3) and TiO2 nanoparticles obtained under mild conditions. The occurrence of photochemical dissociation was confirmed on the basis of the absorption curves plotted for the reaction product on “Varian”. The occurrence of photochemical dissociation of the phenol product in the presence of C26H22N4O3 in the UV-visible area was confirmed by experiments.
