In order to assess air pollution in Baku, the first active biomonitoring was carried out using moss transplants (moss in bags). The analysis was carried out on an Agilent 6890N gas chromatograph with a mass selective Agilent 5975 detector, GC-MD.The object of research was the organic pollutants of the air basin of the city. Over 200 organic substances of various classes of compounds were identified in the exposed samples of mosses.
